This project showcases our ultra-premium range of architectural aluminium, hybrid, and triple glazed windows and doors, installed at a detached chalet-style home in Bath. Constructed in the distinctive Bath and Cotswold stone, the property has been transformed with a carefully specified mix of latest-generation aluminium, hybrid, and luxury sliding and bifolding doors.
Working in close partnership with the homeowner, we delivered a comprehensive package that prioritised insulation, comfort, sound reduction, and long-term reliability. The result is a beautifully upgraded family home fitted with some of the most advanced triple glazed windows and doors available on the UK market.

Triple Glazed Windows and Doors. Better insulation and improved acoustics.
From the outset, the client was clear that triple glazing was a must. The priority was to maximise thermal efficiency and acoustic comfort throughout the property. With this in mind, CBP delivered a tailored mix of three high-performing systems, combining British and European design excellence.
The main aluminium system used is Smart Systems Alitherm 400—one of the newest thermally broken aluminium systems in the UK. We installed a combination of fixed and opening windows, single doors with flag or sidelight windows, and aluminium French doors. All products are triple glazed and finished in RAL 7030 Stone Grey Matt powder-coated aluminium. This colour was chosen to complement the natural stone elevations. We also fabricated and installed bespoke aluminium flashings to the dormer gables and dormer windows to complete the detailing.
Internorm Hybrid Solutions: Timber and Aluminium Combined
To further enhance insulation and aesthetic flexibility, we introduced two hybrid prouducst from the leading European Internorm systems—HF410 Studio and HV450 Home Pure—both again supplied as triple glazed windows and doors.
The HF410 features Internorm’s I-tec Core, a laminated timber construction combined with a durable aluminium outer shell. These made-to-measure hybrid units offer concealed locking, high acoustic ratings, and U-values as low as 0.64 W/m²K. The HF410 can be configured into large areas, combining fixed and opening elements in one cohesive design.
The HV450 is one of Internorm’s most advanced systems. This version also includes fully integrated solar-control blinds between the glass panes, powered by self-sufficient battery units and controllable via smart technology. With a flush glass-to-frame design and no external shading devices required, this system delivers privacy, shading, and insulation in one.
Solarlux Sliding and Folding Door Systems
To complete the rear elevation, we installed two of Solarlux’s most advanced triple glazed door systems: Solarlux Cero III sliding doors and Solarlux Highline bifolding doors.
The Cero doors are designed as a two-panel configuration with a slim central mullion and low-threshold track. With minimal visible framing and outstanding build quality, these triple glazed sliding doors provide uninterrupted views and superior acoustic and thermal performance.
The Highline bifolding doors were used in both three- and four-panel configurations. Designed for premium residential applications, the Highline system features an ultra-slim 99mm sightline at the panel joints and is built around Solarlux’s patented bionicTURTLE® thermal break.
These doors are Secured by Design accredited and meet RC2 security classification, class 9A water tightness, and sound reduction ratings up to 45dB—all while maintaining a minimalist appearance and outstanding ease of use.
